Yeah, XpressMusic phones are mid-end handsets. Not high-end N-Series handsets. That is why they will always have worse cameras. Not just from a megapixels point of view either. The sensor and aperture in XpressMusic handsets is also worse. At its price point though you can hardly complain, given the other features you’re getting.

We’ll only see 5MP cameras in mid end/Xpress Music devices once they become common on the Nseries. Sad, but true.

WHY the 3.2 megapixels???
the N95 came out in 2006.
Shouldn’t 5mp be the standard by now? its THREE years.
