Nokia 5800 Hits v21.0.025 – Update Selectively Available

The Nokia 5800 has just received a new firmware in the form of version 21.0.025, up from the earlier v20.0.012. The new firmware has limited availability so far and is currently only available for following HK product codes – 0575407, 0575408, 0581337.

The firmware according to Nokia Addict brings faster bootup times, a snappier performance overall and for the camera as well. Jump over for the user generated changelog. The 5800 features user data preservation so you can update without worrying about your data, however a backup is still recommended.

Also, if you like to keep all your software updated, then it may be of interest to you that the Nokia PC Suite has received a minor update as well. It is now upto 7.1.26.0.

    Just for info – when I tried to use NSU it said no update was available – that v20 was still the latest.

    But going through the phone settings, and checking updates from directly in the phone let me update to v21, may work for other people too

    I’ve got a HK version 0575408 but NO UPDATES AVAILABLE – tried NSU on multiple PCs + firmware over the air, no dice.

    What’s going on????? As there are many places in the internet reporting V21 for 575408.
