Rumour: E71 To Get 5MP Camera & FP2

This is one rumour I can’t pass up, specially when it comes from trusted Russian insider Eldar Murtazin. According to the rumour, Nokia is apparently prepping a variant/upgrade to the E71 – the E71i which will feature a 5MP camera along with FP2. There is no word on whether it will be blessed with a 3.5mm jack as well. The announcement is expected to be around September, probably Nokia World and the handset is suppossed to come out in Brown/Mocha.

If this is true, this is great news. In fact, I was going to publish a post on what I thought would be a killer Nseries device and it had the E71 getting a makeover with a 5MP camera, 3.5mm jack, FP2(just for the USB speeds and access point prioritisation), possibly a bigger screen and the Eseries+Nseries software inside. This rumour comes quite close.

Hell Yeah, put in a xenon flash and i’ll give up my N82 right then and there !!! This would be such a killer device. Unfortunately there doesnt seem to be anything in the near future which can make me give up the N82. The best Nokia in a long time …….
