Symbian is dead and dated, and in my opinion it’s not worthy of your time considering the excellent work you do here.

Symbian is a very good OS but can u please post some information of other phones like APPLE iPhone 3GS…and Blackberry for some change….it will be a very good IDEA…for now i am willing to know about Apple iphone 3GS

hey vaibhav few days back i’d mailed you also.. I think it’s time you must justify the tag of some more literally.. Believe me man i just appreciate your work and like the work but when i find it just has the old literally stinking now os it disappoints me and i expect there’s lot more guys who feel the same.. You should start writing on all the oss available.. It will not only widen your horizons but also attract more guys to the website and believe me i know lots of guys who just hate nokia and when i talk about websites they say it may be sponsored by nokia..so all of these misunderstandings will be clear and a big plus will be you’ll justify other os.

Yeah! you should cover Maemo too because it looks like it will be “The new Symbian”, you know what i mean. i like Android too so it would be cool to have an Android section here.

You should definitely cover other “worthy” OSs and maybe at some point you can do a comparison of the strengths and weaknesses of the various operating systems..this will encourage a decent debate and maybe even dispel some misconceptions.

Yes dude! I too have been inclined towards Android..Symbian is not keeping pace with the latest tech. Have not looked at Maemo; it looks good but its the same familiar layout of Symbian! My next purchase is more or less decided i.e the HTC Hero with the superb Android OS, as & when it is launched in India. I own a N82 currently and of late it has been giving me too many problems and leaving me short-charged of several features. I shall not exchange it and keep it as I still feel it has one of the best cams in the market. Till date not even Nokia has been able to provide a logical upgrade from the N82 like how it has done for the E51 and E71 to E52 & E72 respectively. The E72 looks good but unfortunately I shall not go for it due to Symbian. It is ironic that once which was the OS of choice today is the reason for putting off a purchase.

Hey man, when i heard about the N900 elsewhere, i quickly came over here to see what you ve to say about it. Mine and your interests are greatly aligned and i know that there are lot more people out there, like us. Start covering stuff like Maemo and a little of Android. Maybe a Nokia/Symbian oriented blog. But no iPhone please!

Well, I hope that the non-Symbian items will not replace any Symbian items… You can only spend your time once.

Maemo seems interesting, but it has nothing to do with Symbian. It might be better to put it on a second site or something. What’s next after Maemo? Iphone OS? Windows Mobile, android? I will go to ‘allaboutwinmobile’ to read about that if I want that.

Anyway, keep up the good work en feel free to write about what you like. I just wrote an opinion, because you asked for it…
