How To Wirelessly Update the N900

By - Vaibhav Sharma On 21 October 2009

All of Nokia’s recent Symbian devices support over the air upgrades for the firmware or the device’s own software as well as updates for applications. The N900 running the Maemo 5 OS does that as well and in an even more easier way. It checks for updates once daily and incase any update is found, it notifies the user via a blinking icon. You can click on it to go to the application manager where you can choose individual updates or select update all to install all available updates. In case the update is for the OS, the device will automatically restart once its done.

Watch all of this being done in a video demo by Kirsi, a member of the Maemo 5 UI Team.
