Reminder: Become The Next Cityman & Win A N97 or N900!

The folks at WOM World were kind enough to send me a limited edition Cityman device a few weeks back, the purpose of the Cityman was to act as an anti theft device by taking in the N97 and fooling possibly thieves into thinking that you’re holding a relic. Nokia X6 Passes The FCC Hurdle – Out Come The Bare Bone Pictures & User Manual

The X6 may just be one of the most good looking phones to come out of Nokia, but the FCC has a way of producing no so flattering shots with the best of devices. The X6 is Nokia’s first capacitive touch Symbian smartphone and packs a 3.2″ screen and 32GB of internal storage. It will be a 450 Euro ‘Comes with Music’ device at the start with a non CwM variant expected in Q1 next year.

The N900 is a fresh new device with a new layout, settings and functionality. If you have been using Nokia smartphones in the past, chances are that you never felt the need of picking the user manual, the N900 however will change that. New N86 8MP Firmware v20.115 Now Available – Changelog Inside

The N86 firmware that was suppossed to bring face detection and other improvements and bug fixes is here in the form of v20.115. The update is available OTA (as a 7.5MB download) and also via the Nokia Software Updater. The update brings a speed boost as well as more internal memory (now upto 70MB) and more RAM as well (now upto 65 MB on boot up).

Two Comprehensive N900/Maemo 5 Reviews

When it rains, it pours. We not have not one but two very comprehensive (read as exceptionally long) reviews of the N900 and its Maemo 5 OS.
