An All New Sports Tracker Comes To The Ovi Store

If you recall, last year in October we told you that Sports Tracker had broken away from Nokia and a new company called Sports Tracking Techonologies had been formed and that they were working on an all new version of Sportstracker, with more functionality.

The fruits of their labour are now available as a free download from the Ovi Store. So if you have been a long term fan of Sports Tracker and were waiting for it to become compatible with the latest touch devices from Nokia, your wait is over. In addition to all the old functionality such as pace and altitude plotting, maps and so on, the new version brings support for pairing a heart rate monitor with the application.

The maps used are Open Street Maps, I would have liked to see Ovi Maps integration here, but perhaps that is a result of the fact that the application is not made by Nokia anymore. Here are a few screenshots:

  1. Finally! Maybe Sports Tracker guys like “beta” based release plan but do not make us waiting long for version for S60 3.2 devices, web page and migration of profile from NST service. Keep the good work!
