Sym4square: The Symbian Foursquare App Is Now Available For Download

The Symbian OS has not been blessed with an official Foursquare client and there aren’t many third party apps that allow full featured access to the service. There is Gravity with some basic support for Foursquare but it does not quite match up to the versions available for Android and the iPhone.

Enter Sym4square by ThinkChange, a dedicated Foursquare app that looks just like the official Android application is available for a grand price of free. It works using the Foursquare API’s and supports the 5230, 5233, 5235, 5530, 5800, C6, N97, N97 Mini, X6 among other Symbian touch from Samsung and Sony Erricson. If you have a S60 3rd Edition device, then you are out of luck.

The Sym4square app is available as a unsigned download, so you will need to sign it for your device before you can use it. Here a tutorial that will help you sign it on the phone itself.
