WhatsApp For Symbian Updated – Now Supports Multimedia & Location Sharing

WhatsApp is a cross platform app that allows you to exchange messages with your friends and contacts using a data connection (or WIFI) in the same way as SMS. Additionally you can also send multimedia files and share your location from within the app. The best thing about the way it works is that you do not need to add people to your friend list, if they are in your phonebook and use WhatsApp, they will automatically show up in your friend list.

Auto Remove SMS For The N900 Helps You Bid Adieu To SMS Spam

SMS Spam is a glowing menace, but if you own a N900, you won’t have to live with it anymore. Giovanni Cognome‘s Auto Remove SMS written in Qt and C++ lets you delete text messages based on their text, sender or the received date. The application is a free download and even has  a background version that can be scheduled with the Alarmed app to auto remove SMS.

The ‘New Symbian’ Gets A New Home At Symbian.Nokia.Com

If you recall that the Symbian Foundation closed down last month, then you will also remember that Nokia said that they will continue to develop and evolve Symbian. Well, the first steps in that direction have been taken.
