To put it simply, you shoot some awesome (read as: innovative, creative and exciting!) video on your N8, share it and if it finds a mention in the top 8 submissions you and a friend (that’s 16 people in total) will be headed to an exclusive N8 Producers Zero Gravity flight in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
But what if you don’t have a N8? Don’t worry, just head over to this page submit your idea and you could get a N8 Producers trial pack to make the idea a reality. You have time till January 31st 2011 to submit your entries, but if you need a N8 trial pack then the last date to submit your idea is the 10th of Jan. The winner will be announced in early February.
If you were wondering about the trial pack, well here is what it could look like. Instead of wrist strap you could also get a waterproof case, helmet strap and so on.
In the limited time at the Nokia N8 preview in Delhi, one of the things I wanted to do with the N8 was shoot a hands on video documenting my experience playing with the device for the first time. The idea behind this was to give you an idea of how the device will feel to you when you get it.
But to make things even better and add a whole lot of perspective I and ‘teh’ Clinton Jeff from ZOMGitscj teamed up to not only bring you our initial reactions but also chit chat along the way. The video was incredible fun to shoot and we shot over 25 minutes without realizing it and had to virtually asked to stop. Today I give you part one of our joint hands on.
In what is the most comprehensive look at the N8 so far, Nokia Conversations has published a video in which Chris Bennetts, Senior Project Manager at Nokia sits down with the Nokia N8 and shows off its smarts.
“Nokia N8’s homescreen, demonstrating the customisable abilities of the handset, true multitasking that makes running multiple apps a breeze, the lighting-fast onscreen keyboard, email and messaging, internet and browser capabilities and finally maps and navigation.
Some aspects of the device look pretty different from S^1, so I think that should make a lot of people happy. Plus the homescreens look great and I am pretty happy with the nifty speed with which the N8 seems to work. Coverflow also looked nice. They have promised a part 2 and 3 of this video next week and I can’t wait for it.
